The Municipal Court in Lukavac accepted the proposal of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton and ordered a one-month detention for Alja Salkić (32) from Lukavac due to the existence of reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons or explosive substances in conjunction with the criminal offense from Article 73 of the Law on Weapons and Ammunition of the Republic of Turkey and the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.
According to the order of the Prosecutor’s Office and the order of the Municipal Court in Lukavac, the investigators of the Criminal Police Department of the PU Lukavac, with the assistance of the Police Unit for Special Support of the UP MUP TK, searched the family house and auxiliary facilities used by the suspect in Lukavac, and found a large amount of weapons and ammunition: two rifles, a hand-held launcher, several anti-hail rockets, a large amount of ammunition for automatic, semi-automatic and hunting weapons and a certain amount of explosives. Also, the investigators found several packages with about 650 grams of the narcotic drug marijuana (Cannabis sativa) prepared for further sale and a digital scale on which the presence of the narcotic drug amphetamine was determined.
After the search, the suspect was deprived of his liberty, a criminal investigation was carried out, and he was handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office with a report on the crime committed.
The acting prosecutor ordered the investigation and interrogated the suspect.
