“You must achieve this in your end product. That is why we had to accept prices. Our policy was and will remain that it will retain lower prices in relation to all the countries of the region in Banja Luka.
He reminded that RS has a very old hydroelectric power plants on which he relies on, and that in old equipment needs to be continuously invested.
According to him, the materials needed for the reconstruction and maintenance of power plants are constantly growing and increasing the cost of producing electricity production.
He added, the costs in mining production are also very high and constantly growing, from energy, equipment used, machinery.
“All this significantly increases the total value of all costs that have ‘Elektroprivreda Republika Srpska’. The growth and maintenance costs existed by the existing distribution network,” Okić explained.
