A person whose initials are A.O. (1968) has been arrested on suspicion of committing offence of human trafficking in Bosnian town of Bihac.
He was arrested this morning by members of BiH State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) who searched his apartment, police said.
Investigation found that A.O. “bought” a woman and kept her in servitude for a period longer than two years.
By using force and other forms of coercion, he made her beg every day and bring him money, exposing her to constant physical, psychological and sexual violence.
The victim was an adult female person with a mild intellectual disability.
