– The Council’s conclusion is to develop the Rulebook on the Refund of Public Transportation for certain categories of citizens in the city of Tuzla, retired and veterans associations – the Mayor of Tuzla Zijad Lugavić.
The plan is to refund prices for all those who bought monthly tickets, which belong to the mentioned categories of citizens. They will be able to apply for a public call that will be announced to refund costs.
A few more conclusions and decisions concerning communal activities, on improving line transport services, etc. have been adopted.
The opposition in the City Council considers that the problem of transport should be addressed through the establishment of a new public company, and the procurement of electric power minibius.
The refund of costs, according to the opposition, is a temporary solution to that problem.
At the regular session of the Tuzl City Council in February, the discussion on the issue of public transport in Tuzla was announced, which according to current prices is the most expensive in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
