In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is on wet or damp roads, and due to the strong wind, we warn of landslides and stones on the road in the following sections: Čevljanovići-Nišići, Novi Travnik-Bugojno (Rostovo), Konjic-Jablanica, Jajce-Banja Luka , Bugojno-Kupres, Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje-Prozor, Buna-Masline, Grude-Posušje, and Bihać-Srbljani-Bosanska Krupa.
Fog and low cloud cover reduce visibility in the wider area: Goražde, Banovića, Jajce, Kiseljak, Kreševo and Glamoč.
We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution in all road directions and to adapt their driving to the current road conditions. We ask other road users to be careful and obey all traffic regulations.
On the Karanovac-Kneževo regional road in the Vidovo Vrelo-Kneževo section, as well as on the Kneževo-Ugar road, the carriageway is still narrowed and traffic is difficult.
Today (January 9, 2025) from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., traffic for trucks over 3.5 tons of total mass will be prohibited on the roads: GP Rača-Bijeljina, Bijeljina-Brčko-Šamac, Šamac-Johovac, Klašnice-Banja Luka, Čatrnja-GP Gradiška, highway “9 January” on the section Banja Luka-Doboj and the section Gradiška-Banja Port.
At the Gradiška border crossing, there is a long line of vehicles on the way out of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At other border crossings, passenger vehicles do not wait longer than 30 minutes.
Traffic is still suspended on the Jablanica-Blidinje main road due to damage to the pavement.
Works are underway on the M-17 highway in Donja Jablanica, in the Komadinovo vrelo locality, which is why traffic is occasionally slower, with possible shorter suspensions.
On the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Visoko, due to works on the installation of fenders at the place of work, the overtaking lane is in operation.
The works are also current on the main roads: Pelagićevo-Srebrenik, Husino-Ljubače and Čitluk-Ljubuški.
On the main road Rogatica-Ustiprača, due to damage to the bridge, vehicles up to 30 tons are traveling in one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.
Traffic for vehicles over 5 tons of the maximum permissible weight is prohibited at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 t are diverted to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use GP Šepak. Freight vehicles can drive on GP Šepak from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00.
