Due to difficult weather conditions, the search had to be suspended for the third day.
One team of rescuers inspected the ridge from the House of Rescue towards the observatory in a 50-meter zone and managed to reach the relay that was inspected on the previous two days of the search, and that is the place where the missing person was last reported.
Another team of rescuers on touring skis went from the Rescue House towards the serpentines for the summit.
The third team of rescuers on touring skis inspected the serpentines and reached the fourth serpentine.
The fourth team of rescuers on snowshoes examined the foot of the southern slope of the so-called Ivan field.
“Unfortunately, we still haven’t found the missing person. Tomorrow we expect better weather and reduced wind strength, when we will have the opportunity once again in better conditions to inspect all the marked areas and expand the search,” said the Sarajevo Canton Mountain Rescue Service.
