These are two two current grants, one of which is intended for celebrating religious holidays, and the other for the regular activity of religious communities. The third capital grant is intended for renovation and maintenance of religious infrastructure.
In this year’s budget, the town of Bihać provided 100,000 KMs for renovating religious infrastructure and 37,000 KM to support religious communities and their activities.
– This is not just the material assistance we realize, but also an indication that the city is behind the religious communities in Bihac, to continuously follow their work, but also to projects that those together within their communities and the believers are designed, and They have not only religious, but also cultural and historical significance and tourism potential – the Mayor of Bihac Elvedin Sedic said.
Representatives of religious communities emphasized the importance of this Memorandum, which enables them to plan and implement significant projects.
The President of the Jedamic Community Bihać Samir Bećirspahić announced the reversal of the Fethius Mosque, the construction of the Islamic Center on Ceravacs and improving infrastructure on cisterns.
– Each of the religious communities for this year can count on certain means and make a plan of consumption, which will result in significant projects for believers and our citizens. We have certain projects that we plan to implement this year, primarily reconstruction of the Fethi Mosque, the Islamic Center on Ceravci, the improvement of the infrastructure on the cities and some significant things that will be delegated by James in the coming period – said Bećirspahić.
The parochials of Slaviša Milinović emphasized that the Serbian Orthodox Church will use the reconstruction of the Holy Apostles of Peter and Pavle, the end of works on the temple in the village of Grmusha and the regulation of Orthodox cemetery in Bihać.
– Last year, we signed the same memorandum and knowing that we would sign it this year, we could have planned work this year. The Management Board of the Serbian Orthodox Church of the Municipality of Bihać and Martinbrodsko-Kulenvakufske has the reconstruction and conservation of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Pavle in the tributation of that replica of the same smaller church. We also have the completion of the works on the temple in the village of Grmuša and cleaning the Orthodox cemetery here in Bihać. These are some projects that are the most significant and which we will try to end in the coming years because there are also large projects, and fewer projects will be able to end with these funds – said Paroh Milinović.
Fr. Ivan Tučić, Župnik Bihać Župa Sv. Ante Padovanski, thanked the City Administration and the Mayor for Support, emphasizing that the memorandum would facilitate the realization of the project of revitalization of the Church of St. Ante Padovanski and the beginning of the renovation of the parish church.
– In addition to being a symbolic important act because as representatives of religious communities in the people who run the mood to the religious community, support and good cooperation, the Memorandum is also important to plan and realize the projects They spend here in Bihać. The town of Bihać will support us in the project of continuing the revitalization of the Church of St. Ante Padovanskog in the city center but also the beginning of the parish church here in Bihać, some we have already started, in some, we hope that this memorandum will help us continue our cooperation in the future – says Fr.
