Justice and Administration KS Darja Softić Kadenić said this law said that it was a programmed law related to the digital transformation of Sarajevo Canton.
“The essence of the law is to establish an e-portal and defining the manner of its work and use. This is the first law like this in Bosnia and Herzegovina, “said Minister Softić Kadenić.
This law should bring a series of innovations to improve the work of public administration and facilitate the daily life of citizens:
– Establishment of a cantonal ePort – a unique platform for all public services will enable citizens and legal entities to submit requirements, applications and exchange official documents electronically.
– Electronic identification and security – The introduction of electronic signature and identification shall ensure the legal validity of all documents and user security.
– The interoperability of the system – institutions undertake to exchange data, ie the necessary information, which reduces bureaucracy and accelerates the processing of requests.
– Digitization of public registers – All public registers are water in electronic form, and authentic data are collected only once and used in different procedures.
– Service catalog – An overview of all services available electronically will be available at the ePovertier that will be continuously expanded, with clear instructions for their use.
– E-compartment and electronic officer – citizens receive their own e-compartment for communication with administrative bodies, monitoring the status of their case, etc.
– Council for Electronic Administration – This Council will coordinate and monitor the procedure of digital transfusion of Sarajevo Canton and to suggest and approve future projects.
– Criminal provisions and supervision provides for the sentence for non-compliance, and the supervision is carried out by the Ministry of Justice and the Institute for Informatics and Statistics. Enforcement for contempt of regulations, and the supervision is carried out by the Ministry of Justice and the Management of the Informatics Institute Statistics.
The law also applies to local self-government units in Sarajevo Canton, which will be able to offer their own services through the ePortal using the cantonal infrastructure.
The system is designed to be adaptable for other cantons and higher levels of government, which opens the possibility of broader application.
“Citizens will no longer have to think that the institution should be addressed – everything will be available in one place, quickly and transparently. This law is the foundation of modern, efficient and digitized public administration,” said the Minister of Justice and Administration.
