This year, the entity assembly will pay 350,000 marks for the purchase of new and maintenance of existing vehicles. As reported by FTV, the estimated value of vehicle liability insurance is 42,000 KM.
In the opposition, they are not surprised by the latest public procurement plan in the assembly. They are sarcastic when it comes to the need for new vehicles.
“I think it’s time for Nenad Stevandić to change those two Audis, they’re a bit old after all, they’re 2020, so I think the president should drive in the latest model,” says Đorđe Vučinić, MP of the List for Justice and Order in the NSRS – in.
The PDP notes that, when it comes to public procurement, we have nothing new in BiH and that in that segment everything is going smoothly and without problems. For everything else, there are political blockages and the impossibility of agreement, except when spending budget money for office holders.
“The only thing that works is public procurement and spending public money. It is one in a sea of buying luxury limousines at unbelievably high prices and there has never been a stoppage or blockage and everything goes like clockwork. It is quite a common fact in this dismal society. It is a procurement that is probably planned in advance and it is known who will be the seller,” says Branislav Borenović, a member of the PDP Main Board.
The public procurement plan does not necessarily mean that the purchase of new parliamentary official vehicles will be implemented. Judging by past practice, however, that would be a surprise.
