The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) has hired a small number of police officers for the arrest of Milorad Dodik in East Sarajevo on Wednesday to reduce the risk and avoid possible conflict, today is announced from this institution.
The SIPE said that 23. April police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to the suspicion of the criminal offense “of the Constitutional Order” in the administrative center of the Government of the Republika Srpska in East Sarajevo, joined the place of events for the realization of the orders in question.
“In order to reduce the risk and avoid possible conflicts in the implementation of the mentioned arrest orders, a small number of police officers in civilians are engaged. That is an agency to take care not to jeopardize peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
Arriving in front of the administrative center of the Republic of Srpska, the police officers of this Agency found the Police Officer of the Interior of the Republika Srpska, which was provided by the provision of the Building of the Administrative Center, as well as providing President BH. Entities, who have been acquainted by police officers from the Agency for the reason for the arrival and the purpose of the Court and Prosecutor’s Office, followed by the Ministry of the Republika Srpska in the protection of the protected person in accordance with the laws of Republika Srpska, and will not allow deprivation of freedom.
“For the above reasons, the order was not implemented, after which the police officers left the scene,” they stated.
The Agency’s activities will submit appropriate reports to the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
