In the “Borik” hall in Banja Luka, a session of the Main Board of the SNSD was held tonight in an expanded composition, after the ruling coalition from the RS yesterday adopted an agreement on joint participation in the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held on October 4 this year.

Weaknesses of the opposition
They will be opposed by the still ununited opposition, for now gathered around the Serbian Democratic Party (SNSD), the Secure Serbian Movement (PSS) and the People’s Front (NF). By the end of May, as Jelena Trivić, the president of the NF, confirmed today, the names of the opposition candidates for the president of the RS and the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the RS will be known.
“It will be one person each from SDS and PSS, who are judged to be the best candidates and who can bring victory,” Trivić pointed out.
The list for justice and order of Nebojša Vukanović, who highlighted his candidacy for the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the RS, refuses to join the united opposition for the time being, and it is not certain how Igor Crnadak and his newly founded Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) of the RS will participate in the elections, after he parted ways with the PDP and the leader of this party and the PSS, Draško Stanivuković.
Trivić also said that the organizer of the meeting of the opposition at the end of May, where the names of the candidates will be announced, will be held in the organization of NF, and that the invitation to attend will be sent to Crnatok and Vukanović “regardless of the current differences in views, arguments and disagreements”.
“The chances of removing Dodik’s regime from power are greater if there are more of us,” Trivić said tonight.
Big appetites
During the session of the Main Board, the SNSD did not talk about the names of the government’s candidates, and they have not yet indicated when they will announce to the public which cadres they will oppose the opposition with.
At tonight’s session, however, they presented the main election goals.
These are the victory of the candidate for the President of the RS and the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the RS, the largest number of deputies in the National Assembly of the RS – “a two-thirds majority with coalition partners (35 + 21 coalitions) a total of 56 mandates” and the largest number of delegates in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH – “10 delegates with coalition partners”.
