Dodik assessed that “the original scenario was probably for the court process to be completed by the end of last year, or at the latest by the inauguration of Donald Trump, but it did not succeed.”
He said that his “goal is to show all the absurdity of such a procedure”.
“I expect that with the arrival of the new American administration, the pressure will ease and that there will be a more conciliatory policy towards everyone, including BiH. We can’t wait for the day when everything that is not constitutional in BiH will be canceled. I believe that now the Trump administration will enable us to do that. Not in the sense that they will give it to us, we don’t need anyone to give it to us. We will do it, we are watching what happens,” said Dodik.
Dodik does not believe that Trump will support the views of “political Sarajevo”, stating that the American Democrats destroyed the Dayton Agreement, and that the Republicans have no reason to protect it.
He said that he does not need the support of Trump, but only that he does not interfere in the relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
