After several months of investigation aimed at preventing the unauthorized distribution of the narcotic drug “Heroin” in the area of the city of Tuzla, police officers of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey conducted an operational action in Tuzla on Sunday, and searched the person SD (1970) from Tuzla, his house, auxiliary facilities, natural areas and the vehicles he uses.
˝During the search, about 1800 grams of a brown substance that looks like the narcotic drug “Heroin” was found and temporarily confiscated, about 50 grams of a white substance that looks like the narcotic drug “Cocaine”, a certain amount of pills that look like a narcotic drug, a mobile phone, money in the amount of 650.00 KM in different denominations, a digital scale, a vacuuming machine, cards and other items with traces of a powdery substance that associated with narcotic drugs, “Pietro Beretta” pistol with associated frame, knife, pvc. bags for vacuuming, as well as other items that are related to the abuse and distribution of narcotic drugs, it was announced from the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of TK.
The market value of the seized narcotic drugs is estimated at around 155,000.00 KM.
˝On the order of the cantonal prosecutor, SD was deprived of his liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a criminal offense from Article 238, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, and the same, after criminal processing, along with a report on the committed criminal offense, will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton,” state the MUP-TK.
In the coming period, police officers of the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse of the Criminal Police Sector of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the TK will continue with activities aimed at preventing the abuse of narcotic drugs, i.e. protecting the safety of the citizens of Tuzla Canton.
