Incompatible, but possible – because, according to Nermin Pećanac, the former Minister of Internal Affairs of the KS: “We have a system that favors the holders and those who are suspected of crime.”

“The question of whether the sick leave was opened before the court ordered detention or not. Given that we do not have the necessary information, I think that here it is a matter of ethics and morality that a certain individual uses certain legal options available in order to realize certain rights, in this particular case – a salary in a certain ratio”, says Albin Muslić, SDP representative. in the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“We have a paradoxical situation. Being the state minister of security in a democratically organized country is one of the most responsible positions. We are sending a very bad message abroad, and the image of state institutions is collapsing. We have a situation where the people most responsible for us are in custody while judicial and prosecutorial proceedings are being conducted, and these people are still receiving money from the budget”, points out Dženan Đonlagić, a delegate in the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina (DF).

“We have a system where the perpetrators of crime are more protected than the victim. None of this is new, nothing changes, everything is the same. Someone created this system, and someone maintains it today. There is no power here to change anything. “Realistically, a high representative should be involved here,” adds Pećanac.

“Each individual should bring ethics and morality into their political activity and not hide from certain legal norms in order to achieve certain benefits. The club of representatives of the SDP has already expressed itself on the issue of the Minister of Security, we expected that he would resign”, says Muslić.
The initiative for dismissal and secure support are ready in the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where Nešić was appointed. If the opposition is asked, that act is the cause of the problem. And the votes for dismissal are still in the shadow of the votes for appointing the same representatives.
“Political responsibility belongs to the members of the ruling coalition, who now, to make things paradoxical to the end, are competing to be the first to sign the Initiative for the dismissal of Minister Nešić, in order not to wash themselves of that responsibility,” Đonlagić points out.
