NATAŠA PAVLOVIĆ – PRESENTER OF PRACTICAL WOMEN “I look at women in Bosnia and Herzegovina through my best friend Aleksandra”

The show “Practical Woman” also brings warmth to our homes this season, tips for simplifying life through the kitchen, meals, entertainment, practical instructions for care, beauty, health, family and home. For a more beautiful everyday life, a team of practical women headed by the author Nataša Pavlović offers quick, simple and effective solutions for the whole family, as well as original advice intended for both women and men, and celebrities will continue to be presented in a completely different light. Project leader and editor Nataša Pavlović answered a few simple questions.

Were you surprised by the format’s popularity in the region?

Yes, I expected it to be watched, but not to such an extent in the entire region. I’m overjoyed about it, so the hard work and dedication that goes into it is not difficult for me. Daily broadcasting implies continuous work throughout the year without any breaks, even on weekends. I don’t have working hours, they are non-stop, in the studio, in the office, at the computer at night, on the phone in the meantime.

Do you have an audience from Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Yes, and a lot. There are many tips that I apply in the shows, which come to me through FB or Instagram from viewers from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I often invite them to come to visit and show some recipe or advice, but our studio is in Belgrade, so it’s not easy for people to organize themselves and stop by, but they still give advice unselfishly. Also, they often ask questions not wanting us to publish their names and asking for discretion, which I understand, we try to help them in that way as well if we can. I am infinitely grateful for so much trust and I will try not to let him down.

Do you have anything to say to our audience/women?

Every day, through everything I do, I tell women the basic thing, which is to do everything they can to be happy above all. It doesn’t matter if you have lunch or cake, or washed laundry, or perfect makeup if you fall off your feet at the end of the day, nervous and unhappy. It’s a matter of balance and self-respect. Not everyone is made to be a top chef, model or business expert. one should be guided by oneself and one’s personal affinities, regardless of the environment, the expectations of others. Beauty is in diversity, I try to encourage women and men not to pay attention to bazaar stories. I noticed that many people are unfulfilled simply because they didn’t have the courage to be themselves.

Have you visited BiH? When and where?

I went to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a child because my mother’s good friend lived there, but I barely remember that period. I grew up in Zagreb, and since at that time there were not many people from Bosnia and Herzegovina there, I had no real insight or feeling about the mentality until I came to Belgrade. I met so many people from BiH there, who evoked all the specifics of their mentality, that I feel like I spent a lot of time there. I also had a boyfriend from Sarajevo, later my godfather was also from Sarajevo, and one of my best friends today is also from Sarajevo. This is former model Aleksandra Kojo (ex Đurić) and I can freely say that she is one of the best people I have ever met in my life (in addition to being one of the most beautiful:). Although I knew a lot about Sarajevo through all of them, I was only 2 years ago for the first time. I felt like I belonged in my own place, because I recognized that immediacy in my friends who are from there. To say that I enjoyed it is an understatement. It’s a special energy, and special people.

Has filming changed you as a woman?

It hasn’t changed me, because I’ve been in the TV business for a long time, and I’m used to all the advantages and disadvantages of this job. Nothing in particular can either uplift or disturb me. The only thing is that now I work more than ever, so it was difficult in the beginning to organize my life so that the family does not suffer. sNow everything is fine, I steal every free moment so as not to miss the most important thing, which is the growing up of my son.

How much do you participate in the actual creation of the show, considering the team of people you have?

I created the show myself and I am its editor, so I choose the content depending on my intuition and the suggestions and advice sent to us by the viewers. Everyone thinks I have a big team, but the truth is that there are several of us women (a fashion editor, a director, two journalists) and everything is up to us. Other newsrooms are much larger, even when they produce much smaller forms of broadcasts, especially if they are of a daily format. We still played together, so even though we often have a lack of time, we manage to finish everything. I’m a bit of a control freak, so I want to check everything, I annoy them a bit, but they put up with me because it’s all in the interest of work.

What kind of guests do you like the most?

Simple, creative, unburdened, talkative, fun… Those who understand that they are there for the audience and who respect them. There are some really wonderful people who guest on the show, and I’m often happy when they reveal themselves to us or show themselves in a different light than usual. When they are like the rest of the normal world. We don’t have gossip, kitsch, scumbags, we’re not tabloid in the slightest, and we’ve managed to get a large viewership, which is almost impossible these days. That’s what I’m most proud of.

Will you be taking a break from being pregnant…Are you excited for a change?

If everything goes well, I won’t have a break due to pregnancy because the baby has decided to come into the world in the middle of summer when there is a television break anyway. In the fall, if everything goes well, I will continue with work and the show in the new season. I’m a second-time mom, so I already know everything, even breastfeeding doesn’t have to suffer because there’s an easy solution for that too. Anyway, even now, because of my older son, I usually finish most of my work from home, there is also my office and my home. With good organization, I hope to achieve everything.

If you are looking for fashion inspiration or a practical solution for the kitchen, or you want to exercise and play with children in a creative way, “Practical Woman” will reveal things that can be easily done with a minimum of costs and time on OBN TV every weekday at 4:00 p.m.
