According to still unofficial information, it is three members of the same family – a married couple and their child, who died as a result of carbon monoxide suffocation.
For now, it is suspected that the poisoning occurred during the use of generators, due to the lack of electricity in certain parts of the Tuzla Canton.
As told to the media, the Police Directorate of the MUP of TK received a report today in the afternoon indicating that the members of the household in Teočak do not leave the house, after which the police patrol of the Teočak Police Station found three lifeless bodies at the scene of the incident, whose death was confirmed medical coroner of the Health Center Teočak.
The Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton was informed about everything, and an investigation team of the Criminal Police Sector of the Police Directorate of the MUP TK was sent to the scene, which will conduct an investigation in the presence and on the instructions of the prosecutor on duty, all with the aim of determining the circumstances under which the event took place.
According to the Law on Criminal Procedure of the FBiH, the investigation is led by the prosecutor, and all further measures and actions will also be taken according to the instructions of the acting prosecutor.
