– The first question is why he is on Parliament 2024. A decision was made and what did the Historical Constitution mean in the historical sense? Our public may not know, but that Constitution was adopted in 1835. in the echo of Serbia fighting for independence from the Ottoman Empire. He was adopted in the influence of the West, so the Russians called him at that time ‘the awkward imitation of representative constitutions, who were born at the time of the triumph of revolutionary ideas in some European countries, questioned to comment on meeting the Croats in BiH.
He reminded that the Constitution was passed in Kragujevac at the Grand Assembly, attended by several thousand people, but it was not in force for long (only two months).
– That Constitution is important in the constitutional history of Serbia, but there is nothing to do with the Republic of Serbian. That is why it is quite clear that the decision from the Council Council 2024. On the joint celebration of the Statehood of the Republic of Serbia and the Republika Srpska reveals the intentions of Aleksandar Vučić and Milorad Dodik, which is the intellectual elites behind that decision, for the creation of a single Serbian National State in the Balkans. – In the next phase, depending on broader geopolitical relations, it should be guided by formal integration into a single state. It is, therefore, a well-designed plan, which is no longer any secret – Kamberović believes.
The second question is, he adds, as dangerous to the Balkans.
– We could say that it’s not dangerous until it is spent in a peaceful way, but that would be a misconception. Namely, keeping in mind experience not only from the recent history, but also from the history of the Balkans of the last centuries, we can conclude that it will not be a quiet process, especially since the ambitions on the single Serbian national state in Bosnia and Herzegovina and they would The next stage must have taken a violent character. That is why this idea must be a serious sign for at least two other Balkan states: Montenegro first of all, but also Macedonia. Since it, Croatia has certainly extracted, although potentially always a conflict polygon, on the trail that is also definitely detached from the ambition of Serbian ideologues of the Grand National State – says Kamberović.
Speaking about how to oppose it, he stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina was unable to oppose it itself.
– That is why the only way one is extended to connect countries in the Balkans, with the support of Europe and the United States. Another option is to accept the model of the creation of several small national countries, but in my opinion, not only in the start of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but in perspective would lead to that small nation states disappear – Kamberović concluded.
