“We applied for a hospital reconstruction project, worth 140 million KM. We have promises from the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, that they will provide us with the bulk of the necessary funds. As for the project itself, we are still waiting for the profession to give instructions on the procurement of new devices, because the planned renovation of a set of devices and apparatus in our hospital. If we are already working on such a large project, then it is necessary to restore everything,” emphasized Javor.
On this occasion, the acting director of the Prijedor Hospital, Miroslav Bijelić, spoke today, who emphasized in a statement that it is a fact that there was water penetration into some parts of this institution due to heavy rainfall, but that it was not in the part of the hospital where the roof was reconstructed.
“At this moment, 1,200 m2 of the roof or about 1/5 of the total roof of the hospital is being repaired. There remains a problem with the rest of the flat roof, which will be solved in the process of complete reconstruction of the roof and the hospital,” he said in Bijelić.
