The trade union demands that the Government of RS make a final decision on the amount of the minimum wage for 2025 in the amount of 1,050 KM, said the president of the Federation of Trade Unions, Ranka Mišić.
– And that is too little, but it is more than what we have now – Mišić said.
She said that at the meeting, which was attended by representatives of employers and Minister of Labor and Veterans and Disabled RS Danijel Egić, they were ready to reach a compromise.
– However, nothing happened. The employers, that is, the representatives of the Union of Employers of the RS do not want to discuss the increase of the minimum wage, which is 900 KM – said Mišić, adding that workers in the RS deserve an increase in the minimum wage.
The President of the Union of Employers of the RS, Zoran Škrebić, said that the position of the Union is that the minimum wage remains 900 KM.
– We did not manage to harmonize positions at the Economic and Social Council, so we probably expect the Government of the RS to make a decision in the coming period – said Škrebić.
