The central Eid ceremony of the Rijaset of the Islamic Community took place in the Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque in Sarajevo, where the Eid sermon was delivered by reisul-ulema Husein-ef. Kavazovic.
On the first day of Eid, reisul-ulema organizes a traditional Eid celebration, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Administrative Building of the Rijaset of the Islamic Community in Kovači.
The importance of Eid-ul-Adha or Hajj-Eid is determined by the ritual of sacrificing the sacrificial animal and sharing the sacrificial meat with the poor, friends and neighbors, as well as the ritual of the Hajj, when several million Muslims visit Mecca on certain days.
Among them this year are more than 2,200 citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
