The program is intended for children who will go to the first grade of primary school in September this year, and according to legal regulations, his attendance is mandatory.
The representative of the Sectionual Ministry of Amira Borovac emphasized that preparations for the implementation of this program began immediately after the adoption of the budget, and that funds needed.
– We invite parents / guardians born in the period from 1. September 2018. until 31. Augusta 2019. years to report children to attend the mandatory preschool program. The Ministry provided funds in the budget for the engagement of professional staff, performing doctor examinations, snacks, didactic material and all other necessary resources for the implementation of the program – the Borovac has pointed out.
It emphasized that through many years of implementation of this program, its multiple benefits, both for children and teachers in class teaching.
– Children through this program acquire social and life skills that allow them to go to school easier, which reduces stress and facilitates the process of transition from preschool in primary education – the Borovac explained.
The mandatory preschool program will last from 150 to 170 hours, ie 50 working days, where children will have organized activities three hours a day, five days a week.
Parents of children with residence in the city of Goražde may apply in one of two city kindergartens, while parents of children from other municipalities can apply in the nearest primary school, either the parent or regional.
The Ministry will, in cooperation with the public institution for preschool education, in the coming period to hold the meetings with the aim of quality program organizations, professional selection, determination of location and insurance equipment. Children’s registration lasts until 14. February, and the realization of the program begins in the middle of March.
