The Operation and Communication Center Brčko confirmed to Feni that during the night one criminal offense, one technical intervention by the fire department and one traffic accident were recorded.
The Emergency Medical Service on duty had 55 interventions, and two babies were born in the Brcno Hospital, while two people died, said OKC Brčko.
The craziest night was mostly welcomed by the people of Brčac at their homes in the company of family and friends, while around 3,000 of them on Trg mladih in the center of the city, despite the cold and foggy weather, ushered in the New Year with a concert by the Tropiko band.
According to the Law on Holidays of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, January 1 and 2 are non-working days, and the District Inspectorate ordered that all legal entities comply with the Decision on non-working days in the District, except for those entities that are of vital importance, because otherwise be fined up to 10,000 KM.
