In the production of industrial crops, a drop in soybean production by 25.5 percent and tobacco production by 59.3 percent was recorded compared to 2023.
The production of potatoes is 181,269 tons and is lower by 12.8 percent compared to last year’s production.
In the production of fodder plants, a decrease was recorded in the production of alfalfa by 10.9 percent and in the production of clover by 4.7 percent, while an increase in production was recorded in corn for fodder by 1.1 percent and grass-clover mixtures by 6.7 percent in compared to last year, data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
In terms of fruit, the realized production of apples increased by 21.1 percent, and the production of plums by 84.2 percent compared to 2023. The total production of grapes increased by 40.4 percent compared to 2023.
