The agreement also defines the payment of one-time aid to all budget users, in accordance with the Regulation of the Government of FBiH.
According to the cantonal Prime Minister Edin Ćulov, the requests of the budget users were met in accordance with financial possibilities.
– We do not have enough funds, we are not a self-sustaining canton, and therefore we could not fully meet the needs and demands of budget users at this time. We negotiated for a long time, compared with other cantons, the situation in our canton and we managed to reach an agreement, I mean to our mutual satisfaction. We found the best solution, according to which the base goes to 400 KM, but one-time financial assistance of 750 KM will be awarded to all budget users – specified Ćulov.
The representatives of sinikat point out that they are partially satisfied.
– We can say that we are partially satisfied because our demands for harmonizing the salary with the cost of living and everything else were higher than agreed, but after negotiations we found a compromise solution that fulfills part of our demands and what the Government of offered at the beginning, so we found ourselves roughly halfway in relation to the proposals of both sides – said the president of the BPK Goražde Judiciary Union, Kamil Herenda.
With the signed agreement, the Government of BPK Goražde also committed itself that for salary negotiations in 2026, the starting base will be 410 KM and that it cannot be set at a lower amount.
