He pointed out that on Christmas we should show our determination to preserve unity, faith and tradition.

“In previous years, we built over 1,000 Serbian Orthodox churches and a dozen monasteries. We did it without hesitation, because we know what the Orthodox faith means to the Serbian people. That’s why I will greet everyone with the traditional greeting – Peace of God, Christ is born,” Dodik told RTRS .

After the operation, he stated that he was advised to rest for three months.

Also, apart from a few photos from a hospital bed in Belgrade, despite numerous visits by high-ranking dignitaries, not a single photo of Dodik during his recovery period has appeared in public.
