Mandžić is accused of having committed the criminal offense of grievous bodily harm under Article 172, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“In the indictment, the accused is accused of kicking MB in the knee area on the side of his right leg in a restaurant in Tuzla, after a verbal conflict with MB, and on that occasion MB suffered serious physical injuries,” the indictment states.
We would like to remind you that it is a physical fight between Mandžić and the mayor of Živinice, Began Muhić, which took place in the Royal restaurant in Tuzla. The conflict happened last year after Muhić was elected mayor in early elections in this city. Muhić then made a statement to the media in which he stated what happened.
“He threw a bottle at me, the glass bottle broke next to me, he came up to me, attacked me physically in an attempt to hit me. Some people prevented it, but I got hit hard in the knee and I’m seriously injured.”
Mandžić previously denied that he physically attacked Muhić.
The plea hearing is scheduled for February 19, 2025.
