As stated by BH-Gas, the reforms will improve the organization, management structures, operations of BH-Gas and enable the establishment of new branches and teams for project implementation.
“With these reforms, BH-Gas has positioned itself to effectively lead the implementation of the Southern Interconnection gas pipeline project between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, ensuring the efficient implementation of this project and stimulating economic development in the entire Federation. Pending the final adoption of the Law on the Southern Interconnection between Bosnia and Herzegovina and of the Republic of Croatia, BH-Gas continues the process of amending the company’s internal acts in order to ensure the realization of this strategic project and the inclusion of all relevant participants,” the statement reads.
Let us remind you that the Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vedran Lakić, has already confirmed that a new scheme of the company’s organization has been prepared.
“It was created to respond to the needs of the construction of the South, North and West interconnection. An implementation team will be formed for each interconnection, so that the headquarters of that team will be at the place where that Southern interconnection is being built. But we also planned to have maintenance sectors in those places, when the interconnections are built,” said Lakić.
