Although she, luckily, managed to escape without injury, she was left homeless as the fire engulfed the entire house.
With the help of rescuers, the old woman was evacuated and handed over to the Center for Social Work.
In the PU Mrkonjić Grad, they state that at 7:15 a.m. they were informed that there was a fire at the family house.
“Members of the Ribnik Fire Company came to the scene and localized the fire, and no one was injured during the fire,” announced the PU Mrkonjić Grad.
They add that with the consent of the duty prosecutor of the Banjaluka District Public Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation was carried out by the police officers of the Ribnik police station.
“The on-duty prosecutor of the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office has been informed of all the circumstances and collected facts, under whose supervision all further measures and actions will be undertaken in order to determine the exact cause of the fire,” the police state.
