A girl (9) from Crna Trava was beaten on December 20 in this town, after, as the victim’s father claims, her peers forced her to ring the neighbors’ doorbell, which she refused.
As her father Vladan Spasić told Blic, the girl’s peers beat the girl until her classmate came by, who threatened the children to tell their parents.
After the girl came home with the help of a friend, her parents took her to the doctor on duty, and the case was reported to the police and the elementary school the children attend.
As the girl’s father explains, on December 20 at around 6 pm, three girls and one boy (14, 10, 8 and 7 years old) with whom the victim goes to the folklore, came to pick her up to go outside. However, as the father explains, the club where they train was closed, and one of the girls suggested that they take a walk around the center.
– The girl who is the initiator suggested that they do something fun and they went to the passage of buildings in the center of Crna Trava, and then she suggested that they knock and ring other people’s doors. She ordered my child to ring and knock because she is the youngest in the company – begins the father for Blic.
He says that his daughter refused, but the girl threatened her that “everyone will beat her if she doesn’t do it”.
– Then my child started running in the direction of the church where they caught up with her and with the help of a brick from the cobblestones they hit her in the leg and thus slowed her down. They started kicking her, because they knocked her down while threatening to kill her – explains Vladan, the father of the nine-year-old girl.
According to him, the child was beaten for about 10 minutes, and then a passer-by came by and the children ran away.
– At that moment, my child started to run towards our house limping, but she saw them again on the street and hid behind the market stall. However, they found her and started threatening her that she would be taken away from her parents if she didn’t listen to them and then they started beating her again – recounts the upset father.
Fortunately, at one point a boy who goes to the class with the victim came by and threatened the children that he would report them to the girl’s parents. He helped her get to the city center and then she got home.
– We found her at the door, all beaten up, and she told us what it was about. My wife and I immediately took her to the doctor on duty, I carried my child in my arms to the Health Center – recalls the father.
The doctor who examined the child reported the case to the police in Crna Trava, and then the father gave a statement describing what happened that evening.
The child was referred to the Leskovac General Hospital for further examinations.
According to reports that Blic had access to, fortunately, the girl has no fractures. Nevertheless, scratches and bruises were observed on her body, and the child could not support herself on her leg due to an injury to her finger.
As Vladan confirms, the child now feels physically better. However, he is traumatized and does not want to leave the house, writes Blic.
