American Airlines jet engine on fire after the aircraft had to land forcibly on Thursday in Denver, forcing passengers to the evacuation using slides, the Federal Air Force Government (FAA).
The air company confirmed that all 172 passengers and six crew members were able to leave the aircraft safely, although six passengers were subsequently transported to the local hospital for additional examinations.

FAA announced an investigation into the incident. Denver International Airport spokes confirmed that the fire was shut down and that the flights continued to take place without disorder.
Boeing refused to comment on the event and sent all inquiries to American Airlines and investigators. GE did not respond for a comment request for now.
This incident is only one in a series of recent problems in the American aircraft industry, who have called into question the safety of air traffic. Among them is the collision of the American Airlines Regional Airline with a military helicopter on 29. January, in which 67 people were killed.
