The Cantonal Court in Tuzla, according to the judge for the preliminary proceedings, in the criminal case against the suspect Hamid Taletović (64) from Banović, due to the existence of reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal acts of murder in a cruel manner, two attempted murders and the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons or explosive substances, issued a decision ordering the suspect to be detained for a period of one month.
We remind you that in the morning hours of June 7, 2026, in the Čifluk settlement in the area of Banovići, he came to the plot of land where his neighbor N.Ć (54) was mowing and fired several shots at him from an automatic rifle, wounding him, then approached him while he was lying down and fired several more shots at him from close range and killed him, causing him multiple gunshot and gunshot wounds. in the area of the chest, stomach and legs.
The suspect, with the intention of killing them, fired several shots at the brother and wife of the deceased, who were nearby and tried to help the victim, during which he inflicted two serious injuries on the forty-seven-year-old A.Ć in the abdomen and right upper leg, after which he fled in the direction of Banović.
Police officers of PU Banovići found the suspect and detained him immediately after the crimes were committed.
The investigation at the scene was carried out by the on-duty prosecutor and investigators of the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, TK. After the criminal investigation, the suspect was handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office with a report on the crime committed.
