The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo pronounced the first-instance verdict and found Benjamin Aganović, Aladin Hajdarević and Nermin Dizdarević guilty.
Aganović was sentenced to a single year of imprisonment for 15 years for the criminal offenses of violation of the integrity of the home, unlawful deprivation of liberty, rape and unauthorized optical recording. Hajdarević was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the criminal offense of violation of the integrity of the home, unlawful deprivation of liberty and rape, while Dizdarević was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the criminal offense of rape.
After the sentencing, the detention of the accused was extended for nine months.
Benjamin Aganović is accused of asking her to take responsibility, threatening her several times, after the hearing held in the Municipal Court in Sarajevo in the case in which he was accused of drug trafficking with the victim in this case. After she refused, on January 25, 2025, in the afternoon, Aganović and Hajdarević broke into the apartment where she lived.
They beat her, pulled her hair, drugged her and then raped her. Accused Aganović recorded everything with his cell phone. During the night, the accused Nermin Dizdarević came to the apartment and also raped him. The day after, the victim managed to escape from the apartment, running towards the Peyton settlement, while an unknown passer-by helped her, the KS Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office announced.
