– We received an email this morning, and certain threats were sent to the police, schools and public institutions in the area of the city of Zenica. The level of security checks has been raised to the highest level – Ekinović said.
Due to the threats sent this morning, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton sent an urgent notice to all primary and secondary schools in the area of that city.
Schools are ordered to temporarily stop the regular educational process and organize distance learning.
– Due to the objective circumstances, acting in the best interest of students and safety in educational institutions, you must interrupt the regular educational process, inform the parents and organize the educational process through distance learning on Friday, April 17, 2026. year, in a way that takes into account the needs and possibilities of the students and the school – it was stated in the letter signed by the relevant minister Mirza Mushija.
The Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton has raised the level of security checks in the area of the City of Zenica to the highest level.
