On Wednesday, the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, TK submitted a report to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton on the criminal offense committed against a total of 11 persons who are suspected of the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons or explosive substances.
˝Six persons were handed over to the jurisdiction of this Prosecutor’s Office. They will be interrogated today and the acting prosecutor will most likely submit a proposal to the Municipal Court in Kalesija for the determination of a detention measure. Another suspect is already in custody in another case of this Prosecutor’s Office in which an investigation has been opened against him. The investigation against the four remaining suspects will be conducted in the regular procedure and they have been released to defend themselves, said the spokesman of the TK Prosecutor’s Office, Admir Arnautović.
We would like to remind you that yesterday, by order of the Prosecutor’s Office and with the order of the Kalesija Municipal Court, searches were carried out at several locations in Kalesija and Živinice, and in cooperation with the MUP of the RS in the area of Bratunac, Šeković and Osmak. During the search, a certain amount of firearms, ammunition, explosive devices and weapon parts, as well as mobile phones and other items that can be linked to the commission of criminal acts, were found and confiscated.
The acting prosecutor will issue an order to conduct an investigation, question the suspects and take further measures and actions in relation to them. Orders were also issued for the necessary expert examinations and other investigative actions.
