The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo today sentenced Adnan Vuk, Maid Maslak, Armin Husić and Zija Novalić to a total of 41.5 years in prison.
The court issued and publicly announced the verdict declaring them guilty of becoming members of an organized group of people, with the aim of carrying out the unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs and illegally produced, processed and sold and kept and transferred narcotic drugs for the purpose of sale, and Maid Maslak, without the approval of the competent authority, kept firearms for which approval is required.
The defendants Adnan Vuk, Maid Maslak and Zijo Novalić committed the criminal offense of Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs from Article 238, paragraph 2, in connection with paragraph 1 of the FBiH CC, as well as the criminal offense from Article 238, paragraph 1 of the FBiH CC, in connection with Article 55 of the FBiH CC, and all in connection with Article 54 of the same Law.
Accused Armin Husić was found guilty of having committed the criminal offense referred to in Article 238, paragraph 2 in connection with paragraph 1 of the FBiH CC and the criminal offense referred to in Article 238, paragraph 1 of the FBiH CC, all in connection with Article 54 of the FBiH CC. In addition to the above, the accused Maid Maslak was found guilty under point 4 of having committed a criminal offense under Article 74, paragraph 1, point b) of ZONDINOM KS, all in connection with Article 54 of the Criminal Code of FBiH.
Approximately 75 kilograms of drugs were taken from the accused.
For the aforementioned criminal acts, the court sentenced the defendants: Adnan Vuk was sentenced to imprisonment for six years for the criminal offense from Article 238, paragraph 2 of the CC of FBiH, and for the criminal offense from Article 238, paragraph 1 of the CC of FBiH in connection with Article 55 of the CC of FBiH, a prison sentence of seven years, and by applying Article 54, paragraph 1 and paragraph 2, point b) of the CC of FBiH, he was sentenced to a single prison sentence of 12 year.
Maid Maslak was sentenced to imprisonment for six years for the criminal offense under Article 238, paragraph 2 of the FBiH CC, for the criminal offense under Article 238, paragraph 1 of the FBiH CC in connection with Article 55 of the FBiH CC, a prison sentence of nine years, and for the criminal offense under Article 74, paragraph 1, point b) of ZONDINOM KS, a prison sentence of two years and six months, so by applying Article 54 of the FBiH CC, he was sentenced to a single prison sentence of 16 years and six months.
Zijad Novalić was sentenced to four years in prison for the criminal offense under Article 238, paragraph 2 of the CC of FBiH, and for the criminal offense of Article 238, paragraph 1 of the CC of FBiH in connection with Article 55 of the CC of FBiH, a prison sentence of three years, and pursuant to Article 54 of the CC of FBiH, he was sentenced to a single prison sentence of six years.
Armin Husić was sentenced to three years in prison for the criminal offense under Article 238, paragraph 2 of the FBiH CC, and five years in prison for the criminal offense under Article 238, paragraph 1 of the FBiH CC, and pursuant to Article 54 of the FBiH CC, he was sentenced to a single seven-year prison sentence.
Based on Article 57 of the Criminal Code of FBiH, the time spent in custody will be included in the prison sentence imposed on the accused, namely Adnan Vuk and Maid Maslak from 06/25/2024. year, to Zija Novalić from June 26, 2024. year, until sent to prison.

According to the defendants Adnan Vuk, Maida Maslak and Zija Novalić, the detention was extended after the sentencing, which can last another nine months, starting from the day the verdict was announced, i.e. from today.
It is a first-instance verdict against which the parties and defense attorneys can file an appeal, announced the Sarajevo Cantonal Court.
