In continuous support for solving the housing issue of young people in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Union banka dd Sarajevo is pleased to announce that the implementation of the “Housing Loans for Youth” credit line for the year 2026 will soon begin, which has been implemented for the ninth year in a row in cooperation with the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the Federal Ministry of Finance.
As part of one of the most important housing credit lines for young people, more than 2,050 loans in the total amount of over 250 mil. KM, for users coming from 50 cities and towns in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and funds in the amount of 40 million KM are planned for 2026.
Housing loans for young people will be placed with a repayment term of up to 25 years and a maximum amount of up to 350,000 KM, and as in previous years, at a nominal interest rate of 2.99% per annum, fixed until the end of the loan repayment. We emphasize that there is still an additional benefit in the form of a reduction in the interest rate for newborn and/or adopted children from the day of submitting the loan application, so those parents who have three children during the repayment period can obtain an interest rate of up to 2.39%. To our great satisfaction, on the basis of the birth of 516 children, a special benefit of an additional interest rate reduction was used.
