In the Čifluk settlement, Banovići Municipality, on Sunday at around 10:40 a.m., a firearm was used – an automatic rifle, where a man was killed, while the injured woman was transported to JZU UKC Tuzla. The police have arrested a person who is linked to the use of weapons.
˝Around 10:40 a.m., PS Živinice reported that a firearm had been used in the Čifluk settlement, Banovići Municipality, and that there were injured persons. The police officers of PS Banovići and OKP PU Banovići, as well as SHMP of Doma zdravlja Banovići were dispatched to the scene, the reports were confirmed, the body of a male person without signs of life and an injured female person were found at the scene, who was transported to the JZU UKC Tuzla˝, the Police Administration of the MUP TK announced.
The Rapid Intervention Team of the Police Unit for Special Support of the Police Directorate of the MUP TK was sent to the scene, and together with the police officers of PS Banovići, they found and brought under control the person who is linked to the use of firearms, namely HT (1962), who was deprived of his freedom and was taken to the official premises of PS Banovići.
On this occasion, a firearm was also found – an automatic rifle, the most likely means of execution. The duty prosecutor of the KTTK was informed about the incident, who will lead the investigation and it will be carried out by the investigators of the Criminal Police Sector of the Police Directorate of the MUP TK.
