The Turkish national currency fell to an all-time low of 45.02 liras to one US dollar on April 24, according to the latest data from the foreign exchange market.
The lira further weakened compared to the previous day, when the exchange rate was 44.97 lira to the dollar.
Two days ago, the Central Bank of Turkey decided to keep the key interest rate at 37 percent, which is the second consecutive meeting where there were no changes in monetary policy, reports Bankar me.
