Police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan/Criminal Police Sector/Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse are, working to suppress and prevent the abuse of narcotic drugs, on 7/1/2025. in the area of the town of Lukavac, spotted a passenger motor vehicle “BMW X5” and the person BG, born in 2000 from Lukavac, who was suspected of possessing narcotic drugs, and who, after noticing the police officers, started to move away, rejecting a certain amount of money.
With the quick intervention of police officers, the person was brought under control, and a search was carried out of him, as well as of the passenger motor vehicle he was using, with the prior consent of the cantonal prosecutor on duty and the oral order of the Municipal Court in Lukavac.
During the search of the vehicle, six packages were found containing a white substance, which by its appearance is associated with narcotic drugs, and two mobile phones “iPhone”, after which the vehicle in question was temporarily confiscated.
˝The cantonal prosecutor on duty was informed about the actions taken, by whose order the person BG was deprived of his freedom and after the criminal investigation, he will be handed over, together with the report, to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton for further action, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a criminal offense under Article 238 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, it was announced by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
