Windows 11 gets a special section in settings, where you’ll be able to manually enable or disable hidden and experimental features.
As part of its recent commitment to fixing Windows 11 and its weak points, Microsoft has promised to make changes to the Windows Insider program, specifically to make it easier to access new features.
While we wait for these improvements to materialize in new versions (today’s releases are poor in new features), enthusiasts have discovered that Microsoft is preparing a special section for experimental features in development within Windows 11.
User @phantomofearth has posted his findings on Platform X. The new section is currently hidden in version 26300.8155 and is called “Feature Flags”.
Inside it you will find a list of available features, as well as those that are no longer available (because their rollout has been completed, they have been removed, reverted to their default state, etc.). There is also a warning that playing with features that are still in development may cause instability or performance issues.

Microsoft still hasn’t officially announced the “Feature Flags” section, so the official details remain unknown. However, it would be great to see it implemented in public versions so that users can easily turn on or off the specific options they are interested in, without relying on a “lottery” when rolling out the news, reports B92.
Along with other long-awaited features coming soon to Windows 11, the ability to activate development elements with one click could finally bring some excitement back among users of Microsoft’s operating system.
