The Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina organizes the third edition of the international conference “Challenges of the Real Estate Market”.
The conference will be held on Thursday, May 21, at the Mepas Hotel in Mostar.
The goal of the conference program is to promote key topics that shape the future of housing and the investment climate. The program was conceived through three panels, which were designed to offer answers to today’s challenges, from market forecasts and macroeconomic trends, all the way to digital transformation and the introduction of green standards in construction.
Development scenarios and risk management is the topic of the first panel, which will explore the dynamics of the borderless market and analyze who in the region is leading growth and who is facing stagnation. Through insight into current trends, experts will analyze possible market development scenarios and identify key challenges and opportunities for investors.
“Our goal is to create a space where the profession, investors and decision-makers jointly define the direction of development. In a time of changing prices and new technological requirements, this kind of exchange of experiences is necessary for the stability and transparency of the market,” said Josipa Topić, secretary of the Association of Real Estate Brokers, which operates as part of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The topic of the conference, which will deal with an issue that affects the investment community and the general public alike, is whether the average family can solve the housing problem today. The balance between price growth and quality of life will be explored. The discussion will include the role of the state through tax breaks and subsidies and analyze the most successful models of housing policy from the neighborhood, with special reference to the importance of smart urbanism and infrastructure in the development of cities, reports Fena.
The final part of the conference is dedicated to technological transformation and digitization. Experts will explain how artificial intelligence and Big Data analytics are becoming indispensable tools of modern business. Special focus will be on ESG standards and green construction and whether it is a passing trend or a strategic investment that will ensure the long-term value of real estate in the demanding European market.
