The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade launched an investigation against ten people, including the former head of the Belgrade Police, Veselin Milić, due to suspicion of connection with the disappearance of Aleksandar Nešović. in the Senjak neighborhood in Belgrade, which is still being sought.
As announced by the Prosecutor’s Office, nine suspects were questioned on Saturday before the acting public prosecutor, and all of them defended themselves in silence, using the legal right not to present a defense.
After the hearing, the Prosecutor’s Office suggested to the judge for the preliminary proceedings of the High Court in Belgrade that all suspects be detained.
The suspect VM was heard on Friday, when he presented his defense, after which, on the proposal of the Prosecutor’s Office, he was ordered to be detained for up to 30 days.

According to the investigation order, SV (48) and MS (46) are charged with aggravated murder in complicity, together with the crimes of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and causing general danger.
DV (42) is suspected of illegal possession and carrying of weapons.
Police officers VM (46), BM (41), SS (33) and PP (46) are charged with failure to report the criminal act and the perpetrator and assisting the perpetrator after the commission of the criminal act.
NL (50) and V.Š. (21) are suspected of not reporting the criminal offense and the perpetrator, while V.Š. it also charges assisting the perpetrator after the commission of the criminal act.
DS (50) is charged with assisting the perpetrator after the commission of the crime, the Prosecutor’s Office announced.
