Asian-Pacific markets have mostly grown on Monday, and investors have closely monitored Chinese stocks.
The CSI 300 index in continental china fell 0.11% in unstable trading, while the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index rose 1.25%.
The Chinese government announced a “special action plan for encouraging consumption” on Sunday to revive consumption by increasing people’s revenues.
Other measures include plans for stabilizing the market and real estate market and increase in the country.
Retail in China increased by 4.0% in the period from January to February compared to last year, compared to the growth of 3.7% on an annual basis in December and in accordance with Reuters’ estimates.
Meanwhile, urban investment in the country increased by 4.1% on an annual basis in the period from January to February, surpassing the reuters of 3.6%.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 reference index increased by 1.29%, while the spread index of Topix increased by 1.38%.
Yields on 40-year Japanese government bonds (JGB) increased by seven base points and reached a record height of 3.007%. In the meantime, the yields on 30-year JGBs grew slightly and reached a 19-year-old maximum of 2,635%.
In the South Korea Kospi index progressed 1.55%, while the small capital Kosdaq added 0.66%, the SEEbiz reports.
The Indian reference value of NIFTY 50 rose 0.29% in early trade, while BSE SENSEX increased by 0.48%.
The Australian S & P / ASX 200 ended 0.83% higher at 7854,10.
