Police officers of the Criminal Police Department of the Police Administration I in Zenica, taking measures and actions to prevent the possession and unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, as well as the detection and prosecution of persons linked to the abuse of narcotic drugs, came to certain operational knowledge. about the illegal activities of the person ZE, born in 1978 from Zenica, which is linked to the abuse of narcotic drugs.
In accordance with the collected information, and on the basis of the order of the Municipal Court in Zenica, a search was made of the house and accompanying facilities used by the mentioned person, which is located in Visočka Street, City of Zenica.
The search found 1,728.4 grams of plant matter, packed in individual contents and prepared for street sale, which by its appearance is associated with the narcotic drug marijuana, and a digital scale for precise measurements.
The disputed matter has been photographed, exempted and will be the subject of the necessary expertise, and will be used as evidence in further proceedings. During the search, the ZE person was deprived of his liberty and a criminal investigation was initiated against him due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he had committed the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs”.
As part of intensified operational activities, the officers of the Criminal Police Department of the Police Administration I in Zenica, under the supervision and in cooperation with the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, undertook intensive activities aimed at elucidating and documenting criminal acts committed in the past period in the area of the City of Zenica.
The focus of the operations of the operational teams was also the criminal offense committed on December 25 this year in Zenica, in Bulevar Ezhera Eze Arnautovića, when an employee was robbed by an unknown person in the sales facility “Konzum” and was threatened with a cold weapon. – money in the amount of 512.80 KM was stolen with a knife, after which the perpetrator of the criminal act left in an unknown direction. With the efficient and coordinated intervention of the police officers of the Center Police Station and the Criminal Police Department, in a very short period of time, a person who was suspected of committing the aforementioned criminal offense was located on Odmut Street, and it is the person SK, born in 1984, from Zenica.
Due to the grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “robbery”, SK was deprived of his liberty and kept in detention facilities, where criminal processing was initiated against him.
After criminal processing and collected evidence and information, the suspects ZE and SK were handed over to the jurisdiction and further action of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton from the reports on the committed criminal offense and the discovery of the perpetrator.
This successful police action is the result of intensified operational work ordered from the level of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, but also of high-quality cooperation and coordinated action within the framework of the activities carried out, announced the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ZDK.
