Nineteen people have been deprived of their freedom, and two people who are on the run are still being searched for in the continuation of the operational action “Pyramid” of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton – confirmed Feni, spokesperson of the Police Department of the MUP ZDK Lejla Ekinović.
Searches began at the same time at 24 locations, of which 16 locations are in the area of the town of Visoko, six in the area of the municipality of Breze and one location each in the area of Sarajevo and East Sarajevo, which is why this action is being carried out in cooperation with the Federal Police Department, the MUP of the Republic of Srpska, and the Police Department of East Sarajevo.
We are acting according to the orders of the Municipal Court in Visoko, and it is a continuation of the operational action “Pyramid” carried out by the Police Directorate of the MUP of the ZDK.
– In addition to the 19 arrested persons, a significant amount of drugs was also found at these locations where the search was carried out. We will later inform the public about the results of the action, when the action is finished – says Ekinović.
The earlier operation, codenamed “Pyramid”, was carried out from January 1 to April 15 of this year and, during that period, 30 persons were deprived of their freedom, and 13 searches were carried out in the area of Visoko, Olov, Breza, Vareš and Sarajevo, in which more than four kilograms of the narcotic drug “speed”, then 3.2 kg of the narcotic drug “marijuana”, five rifles, three pistols, one hand grenade, tablets were found. ecstasy and drug paraphernalia.
