The Criminal Chamber of the Municipal Court in Živinice extended the detention of the suspect Najilo Jusić for two months due to several criminal offenses.

At the proposal of the Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton, and after a hearing held for the parties and the suspect’s defense counsel, the Criminal Chamber of the Municipal Court in Živinice extended the detention of the suspect, Nailo Jusić.
He is charged with abuse of position, receiving a reward or other form of benefit for influence peddling and falsifying an official document.
An appeal against the said decision is allowed to the Cantonal Court in Tuzla within three days from the date of receipt of the decision.
Among other things, the investigation stated that Jusić is suspected of buying fake diplomas from a private university in Goražde for his closest family members and associates.
As it has been established so far, for certain amounts of money, Jusić agreed to issue fake university diplomas to his son IJ, daughter-in-law MJ, wife AJ, associate MK and SA
Their data on enrollment at the university, taking exams and graduation were recorded in the registry books retroactively, and professors’ signatures on exam applications and other documents were falsified.
We remind you that Jusić, although in custody, was not removed from the position of chairman of the Živinica City Council, and his removal was not voted for by the members of the Assembly of TK from the position of member of the TK Health Commission.
