Two bodies were found yesterday afternoon near village Lipnik, 29 kilometers from Bosnian town of Sanski Most, cantonal police spokesperson Vildana Dedic confirmed.
Bodies were found under a tree in a nearby wood, and police were informed of the crime by local residents.
They are identified as Bogdan Popovic (67) and Janja Bijeljin (27), and police suppose that it was a murder and suicide.
A pistol and a rose were found at the scene, and it is believed that man killed a woman before committing suicide.
Media report that both victims were residents of Backa Palanka, Serbia, but the man was born in Lipnik, where he owned a house.
More details will be known after investigation is over.
