A German citizen was beaten in Sarajevo on New Year’s Eve, police said today.
Sarajevo Canton police said German citizen reported on 1 January that he was attacked during the New Year’s celebration.
He said he was attacked in “Downtown” bar in Strossmayer Street, in Sarajevo center, at 3.25 a.m. and got injured.
He was admitted in Sarajevo University Clinical Center and doctors said he suffered serious bodily injury.
Police opened an investigation in this case and are looking for perpetrators.
