Slovenian juice producer Fructal announced on Friday that it has launched an investment plan worth 7 million euros, the largest in the last decade, to improve its production capacity and improve energy efficiency.
As representatives of Fructal wrote on their Linkedin page, extensive investments were launched, which include: introduction of advanced technologies and sustainable packaging, modernization of production lines for greater energy efficiency, construction of a solar power plant for green energy, and improvement of employees’ working conditions.
Achievements include the new Tetra Pak packaging with 52% lower CO₂ emissions and the “Carbon Verified” product label, a new bagging line, the first of its kind in Slovenia, and covering 13% of the electricity needs with solar sources.
With these steps, they not only strengthen their role in the market, but also actively contribute to sustainable development, local production and better conditions for employees.
On their 80th anniversary, which they celebrate this year, they prove that they remain synonymous with quality, innovation and dedication to their Slovenian origins.
