The Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republika Srpska (RS) presented incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises in Banja Luka, with the aim of strengthening their competitiveness and supporting business development.
Assistant Minister Milka Latinčić stated that two public calls have been announced – for the improvement of competitiveness and for the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises, which are open until April 1.
– The incentive for improving competitiveness is intended directly for business entities and refers to the acquisition of equipment, digital transformation and the preservation of traditional crafts. The goal is to enable companies to operate more efficiently and perform better on the domestic and foreign markets – said Latinčić.
Another incentive program refers to organizations such as chambers of commerce and development agencies, which can apply for funds intended to promote the economy through fairs, conferences and other activities.
Latinčić pointed out that the incentives are up to 50,000 KM, while special measures will be provided for larger investments through the new law and accompanying regulations.
Representatives of the Ministry and partner institutions in the previous period organized presentations throughout RS, and the event in Banja Luka was the final presentation of that cycle.
The director of the sector of branch associations in the Chamber of Commerce of the RS, Mile Petrović, emphasized that cooperation with the Ministry is crucial for timely information of businessmen.
– These activities allow businessmen to get specific information and answers to questions related to incentives. It has been shown that this approach gives good results and contributes to the development of the economy – said Petrović.
